A self-made artist, Nandini has developed her skills through a keen sense of observation and a continuous drive for improvement. She has trained with a number of senior artists like V.Logaguru, Nalini Desikan, Ida Daniel, Kevin Williams and M.S.Murthy to fine tune her skills. She is adept at handling various mediums like ink, charcoal, pastels, watercolour and oils. Her artwork is characterised by strong concept, visual appeal and powerful expression.

Nandini holds a Master's degree in Psychology and is a certified Counsellor. She is passionate about Carnatic Classical music. She is an accomplished flautist and the discernible influence of music is apparent in her artwork as well. She has played a pioneering role in the creation and growth of' 'aarohana', a chamber music initiative and 'amogh', a charitable trust that provides support for people with special needs.
